Nothing. VEKTOR SNAP does not collect any personally identifiable information, browsing history, screenshot content, or usage data from your device.
When you capture a tab, the image is processed entirely within your browser using the Canvas API. The compressed image is written directly to your clipboard or saved to your local filesystem. No image data is transmitted to any server.
VEKTOR SNAP sends a minimal anonymous event ping to vektormemory.com/api/snap/analytics when a capture is made. This ping contains only: the output format selected (e.g. WebP), the approximate file size in kilobytes, and a timestamp. It does not contain any screenshot content, URLs, tab titles, or identifying information. This data is used solely to understand aggregate usage patterns (e.g. "how many snaps were taken today").
You can inspect this ping in your browser's developer tools Network tab.
activeTab — required to capture the visible area of the current tab when you invoke the extension. Only used when you explicitly trigger a capture.
tabs — required to identify the active tab window for capture.
scripting — required for the offscreen document that handles Canvas compression.
offscreen — required to run Canvas and Clipboard APIs in a background context (MV3 requirement).
clipboardWrite — required to write the captured image to your clipboard.
VEKTOR SNAP does not share any data with third parties. It does not use advertising networks, tracking pixels, or analytics services beyond the anonymous ping described above.
VEKTOR SNAP stores no data locally (no localStorage, no IndexedDB, no cookies) and no data remotely. Each session is stateless.
VEKTOR SNAP does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date above and note the change in the extension's changelog.
