01How do I install VEKTOR Slipstream?+

Run npm install -g ./vektor-slipstream-1.7.7.tgz from the package directory, then follow the CLI prompts to link your license key. Full walkthrough: Quickstart guide.

02How much does VEKTOR Slipstream cost?+

Individual is $9/mo, billed monthly, cancel anytime. Team is $35/mo (5 seats), Studio $59/mo (10 seats), Enterprise $99/mo (25 seats). Full breakdown: Pricing.

03How do I cancel my subscription?+

Cancel anytime through the Polar customer portal — your data stays local on your machine regardless of subscription status.

04How many machines can I use my license on?+

Each subscription covers 3 active machines. Deactivate one via the Polar portal, or run:

05What is Memory Transparency and how do I use it?+

A panel where every stored memory is visible, searchable, and editable. Consolidation only proposes a rewrite — nothing saves until you approve it. Details: Memory Transparency docs.

06Is my data sent to the cloud?+

No. VEKTOR is local-first — memory storage lives on your hardware. See Security for the full architecture.

07Something crashed or an MCP tool isn't responding. What do I check first?+

Check your MCP client's config file for the correct server path, then confirm the CLI is running with vektor_status. If it persists, send us the error output via the form below.

08Do you offer a Data Processing Agreement (DPA)?+

Yes, for Enterprise customers, along with support for >25 seats. Reach out at [email protected].

09How do I merge or import memory from another tool?+
