Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of VEKTOR Memory and the VEKTOR Slipstream SDK. By installing, activating, or using VEKTOR Memory you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software.

1. Who we are

VEKTOR Memory is developed and operated by the VEKTOR Memory development team ("we", "us", "our"). Our website is vektormemory.com. Contact: [email protected].

2. The licence

Upon purchase and successful activation, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use VEKTOR Memory on devices you own or control, for your own personal or commercial purposes, subject to these terms.

Your licence is tied to a single licence key. You may install VEKTOR on multiple devices you personally own or control. You may not:

1. Share, resell, sublicence, or transfer your licence key to any third party.
2. Use VEKTOR Memory to build a competing product or service.
3. Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any compiled components of the software.
4. Remove or obscure any copyright or attribution notices.

3. Subscription & billing

VEKTOR Memory is sold as a recurring monthly subscription at the price displayed at the time of purchase. Billing is handled by Polar.sh / Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled.

You may cancel at any time from your billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months, except where required by applicable consumer law (including Australian Consumer Law).

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers. If you do not accept the new pricing, you may cancel before the change takes effect.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use VEKTOR Memory to:

1. Violate any applicable law or regulation.
2. Infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.
3. Transmit malware, spyware, or other malicious code.
4. Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system or network.
5. Harass, threaten, or harm any person.
6. Generate, store, or distribute content that is illegal, defamatory, or exploitative of minors.

We reserve the right to revoke your licence immediately and without refund if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated this section.

5. Third-party services

VEKTOR Memory integrates with third-party LLM providers, MCP servers, DXT connectors, and other external services at your direction. We have no control over these services and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or data practices. Your use of any third-party service is governed by that service's own terms and privacy policy.

We do not warrant that any third-party integration will function correctly or remain available. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of third-party services through VEKTOR.

6. Intellectual property

VEKTOR Memory, the Slipstream SDK, all associated documentation, and all related intellectual property are owned by the VEKTOR Memory development team. Nothing in these terms transfers any ownership to you.

Your data is yours. Your memory database, prompt content, and any data you create using VEKTOR Memory remain your property. We make no claim to any content stored in your local memory database.

7. Disclaimers

We do not warrant that VEKTOR Memory will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any defects will be corrected. AI-generated memory retrieval may be incomplete or inaccurate — you are responsible for verifying any output before acting on it.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of VEKTOR Memory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of VEKTOR Memory will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

These terms remain in effect for the duration of your subscription. Either party may terminate at any time. We may suspend or terminate your licence immediately if you breach these terms. Upon termination, your right to use VEKTOR Memory ceases. Your local memory database is not affected — it remains on your machine and you may continue to access it directly.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or UK, you may also have rights under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction which these terms do not override.

11. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010) or any other applicable consumer protection legislation that cannot be excluded by contract. To the extent that any implied guarantee or warranty cannot be excluded, our liability is limited to resupply of the service or refund of the amount paid, at our election.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify active licence holders by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of VEKTOR Memory after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
